The province of Ilocos Sur has recently celebrated its Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. This year marks the province’s 205th year based on the Royal Decree dated February 2, 1818 separating Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte. Prior to this date, the stretch of Bangui in Ilocos Norte down to Luna La Union is called Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants. It literally meant “from the lowlands”.    A festival in the Province of Ilocos Sur commemorating  the separation of the two Ilocos provinces in 1818.  This festival is a showcase of indigenous performances, religious rituals, as well cooking demos featuring the best of Ilocano dishes. There was the tribal performance of the cultural communities of Ilocos Sur which is so fascinating. A memorable quarter

I gained a lot of knowledge. Nothing about education is simple, but you may make it simpler by giving it your all. I realized that all of my subject instructors are skilled teachers because I gained a lot from them. They are helpful and effective teachers, especially when I have questions about subjects that I don’t fully comprehend. Due to the fact that we are SSC students and I am confident that some of us met their expectations again. I also learned that my teachers have high patience and they are making sacrifices just to teach us good. I had a lot of issues in school, including a lack of comfort rooms and time for review. Just like in the first quarter, there are many things to review and tasks to complete, making it difficult for me to concentrate on reviewing. I’m not sure which should come first: the tasks or the quiz review. This is a problem for me because I’m still getting used to this setup and need some time to adjust, but I’m certain that I will adjust. Sometimes, I ...

I’ll try something that scares me or that I always assumed that I’ve be bad at. Don’t limit myself to what I think I can do, but instead I open myself up to new experiences once a month that might surprise me. When this year began, I resolved to focus on areas where I am weak or lack confidence. This covered my weak subject areas, my extreme engagement in watching web series, my inability to manage ...

This festival has become common among all the people of different religions, and everyone loves to enjoy the moments of this festival. This holiday it was wonderful for me because it was more fun than another holidays for now. I know what specific fe...
